Tell us about your responsibilities.
To help clients grow and be more profitable by creating, reinforcing and growing brand-loyal customer relationships. Building on our proven brand management methods, I will lead clients through the process of aligning their organization to deliver brand promises.

What is your educational background?
Bachelor of physics, Institute of Technology, University of Minnesota; Master of Business Administration, Carlson School, U of M.

What experiences have prepared you for this new position?
Fifteen years of brand strategy experience combined with 20 years of new product, international and business experience at 3M, where I saw firsthand how brand and reputation can drive business growth.

Have you had any mentors during your career?
Yes, Ben Shely, group vice president at 3M; Moe Nozari, executive vice president at 3M; Chuck Harstad, vice president, corporate marketing at 3M; and Larry Light, former CMO at McDonald's.

What song title would characterize your life right now?
"Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys, "The Way the World is" by The Killers, and "My Way," by Frank Sinatra.

What is the best part of your job?
Being able to help my clients grow their businesses and be more profitable because that creates jobs and brings solutions to their customers.

My idea of the perfect vacation is:
Any time I can spend with my children, wherever they are.
